Accelerometer Shock Calibration Services

Robert A. Denton,
Inc. is pleased to offer Accelerometer Calibration Services for peizoresistive
accelerometers using a Shock Calibration Pendulum System. This
system uses a dynamic impact to excite the accelerometer to higher acceleration
levels than can be achieved when calibrating on a vibration shaker. Shock
calibrations performed for automotive safety testing are generally from 20g up
to 250g depending
on the mass of the accelerometer. Calibrations
are available with acceleration levels up to 250g depending on the mass of the
accelerometer. Calibrations can be provided with up to 10 separate shocks
at the same or different acceleration (g) levels.
- A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC Guide
17025 - 2005 through December 31, 2007 by virtue of the onsite assessment of the calibration laboratory and evaluation of all activity related to the assessment by the A2LA Accreditation Council.
Scope and A2LA Accreditation Certificate numbered 1644.01.
- Calibrations are traceable
to NIST in accordance with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 standards.
- Calibrations performed on accelerometers from other manufacturers
- Average turn-around time of 5 to 10 working days. Expediting services are
available.
NOTE: Robert A. Denton, Inc. does not repair accelerometers. Accelerometers must be returned to the original manufacturer for repair.
